Cocoon Jugend- und Familienhilfe ist ein freier Träger der Kinder- und Jugendhilfe, der junge Menschen und ihre Familien in herausfordernden Lebenssituationen begleitet und unterstützt. Unsere Arbeit umfasst sowohl ambulante Hilfen als auch stationäre Angebote, die individuell auf die Bedürfnisse der Kinder und Jugendlichen ausgerichtet
sind.

Im Bereich der ambulanten Jugendhilfe arbeiten wir auf Grundlage der gesetzlichen Bestimmungen des Achtes Buch Sozialgesetzbuch (SGB VIII) sowie des Neuntes Buch Sozialgesetzbuch (SGB IX). Dabei unterstützen wir
Familien durch sozialpädagogische Begleitung, Beratung und Förderung im Alltag. Ziel ist es, Familien zu stärken, Ressourcen zu aktivieren und nachhaltige Perspektiven zu entwickeln.

Ergänzend dazu bieten wir stationäre Betreuungsformen an, die sich besonders an den individuellen Bedürfnissen der Kinder und Jugendlichen orientieren. Ein besonderer Schwerpunkt liegt auf unseren individualpädagogischen
Angeboten sowie den von uns entwickelten Unikateinrichtungen. Diese kleinen, passgenau gestalteten Lebensorte ermöglichen intensive Betreuung, stabile Beziehungen und eine Umgebung, die sich an der Persönlichkeit und den
Entwicklungsbedarfen der jungen Menschen orientiert.

Unsere Vision ist eine Jugendhilfe, in der jedes Kind gesehen wird, gehört wird und die Unterstützung erhält, die es für eine positive Entwicklung benötigt. Unsere Mission besteht darin, sichere, verlässliche und entwicklungsfördernde Lebensräume zu schaffen, in denen Kinder und Jugendliche ihre Stärken entdecken und ihre Zukunft aktiv gestalten können. Dabei stehen für uns Wertschätzung, Partizipation und individuelle Förderung im Mittelpunkt unseres Handelns. Wir verstehen Jugendhilfe als Beziehungsarbeit. Durch verlässliche Begleitung, klare Strukturen und eine ressourcenorientierte Haltung möchten wir junge Menschen darin unterstützen,

Background and history of the organization

Cocoon – Youth and Family Support e.V. was founded in 2022.

The organization's founding is closely linked to practical experience in youth services.

Managing Director Burak Ögenc worked in youth services for several years and directly experienced the needs of many children and young people during this time. It became clear that individually tailored support structures are particularly necessary for young people facing specific challenges.

This experience led to the idea of ​​establishing an organization that provides flexible, customized, and intensive support services. A particular focus is therefore on developing so-called unique facilities. These facilities are designed specifically for individual children or small groups and are consistently geared towards their individual needs, life stories, and developmental prospects.

With this approach, Cocoon Youth and Family Services aims to make youth services more personal, individualized, and effective – always with the goal of opening up real opportunities for children and young people's futures.
