Cocoon – Youth and Family Support e.V. is a non-profit organization that provides child and youth services and is dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and families facing difficult life circumstances. Our work is aimed at people experiencing personal, social, or family difficulties who need support to lead a stable and independent life.
Our goal is to support families and young people on their individual journeys and to open up perspectives for positive development. We understand our work as holistic support that takes into account both the personal resources of those affected and their social environment.

Die Eingliederungsförderung von Cocoon – Jugend und Familienhilfe e.V. richtet sich an Kinder und Jugendliche, die aufgrund seelischer Belastungen oder Entwicklungsbeeinträchtigungen Unterstützung benötigen, um aktiv am gesellschaftlichen Leben teilnehmen zu können.
The individual case assistance provided by Cocoon – Jugend und Familienhilfe eV is aimed at children, adolescents, young adults and families who are in challenging life situations and need support in everyday life.
Outpatient child and youth welfare services provide direct support to families in their daily lives. Qualified professionals accompany children, adolescents, and parents in their familiar environment and help them to overcome family challenges together.

Our registered association " Cocoon – Youth and Family Support Association (registered association)" works on the basis of the legal provisions of the Social Code (SGB VIII)Our services are based on the legal framework of child and youth Support and are aimed at children, adolescents, young adults and their families.
In accordance with Sections 27, 28, 30, 31 and 35 of Book VIII of the German Social Code (SGB VIII), we provide individualized educational guidance and support. This support is tailored to the specific circumstances of each family and is delivered in close cooperation with the responsible youth welfare offices (Jugendamt).
At the heart of our work is tailored educational support, which is geared towards the needs, resources and challenges of each individual family. Our specialists support children, young people and parents in their daily lives, advise them in difficult situations and help them develop new perspectives.
We pursue a resource-oriented approach. Together with the families, we work to identify and utilize existing strengths in order to develop sustainable solutions for everyday life.
Our goal is to empower individuals in challenging life situations, promote their independence, and—following the principle of help for self-help—enable them to achieve a stable and positive long-term life development.
